Tree Removal

While trees are usually a valuable asset to your property, some can grow to become safety liabilities. It might be a tough decision to remove a tree but you can be assured that we at AAA Tree Service provide honest professional recommendations on your tree care needs. If we recommend a tree removal, you can be sure we’ve looked at all other options beforehand. Typical reasons we remove a tree is when it’s damaged, diseased or unsightly. Trees with root systems too close to a home or that conflict with a construction project can also become a nuisance. The fact is, there are several reasons to remove a tree and the longer you wait to remove a decaying tree the more dangerous the tree can be. To determine if a tree needs to be removed we analyze the following:

Obvious reasons include:

  • The tree is dead
  • Declining health – the branches or top of tree is dying back; large dead branches; decay on main trunk
  • Major storm damage and the tree is beyond repair
  • The tree is too close to the house or other buildings, utility lines, play structures, etc.
  • The tree is leaning towards the obvious target; house, driveway, patio, pool
  • It becomes a nuisance – dropping seeds, sap, branches, and blocks views, light, inhibiting lawn.
  • Roots pose a serious threat to foundations, driveways, sidewalks, or underground utilities
  • View clearing
  • Major landscape renovations that would either damage trees, or because a tree is not well matched to its location.

NOT so obvious reasons include:

  • Structural problems
  • Bad crotches with included bark or main leaders
  • Crack on the main trunk or main leaders
  • The tree is just too big for the location and poses challenges to safety
  • New construction – the tree will either be mortally damaged by equipment or is directly in the way.
  • Major diseases or insect infestation that will likely kill the tree soon or spread disease to other trees
  • Interior decay
  • Leaning in the wrong direction
  • Crowding among trees – prioritize which trees are healthiest and worth keeping

Whatever the reason for the removal of a tree, AAA Tree Service gives you an honest recommendation and provides you with quality clean service that beautify your landscape.

STUMP GRINDING/REMOVAL

Stumps are either ground down to the level of the soil or removed from your ground completely. The most favored method is grinding. It has proven to help prevent the airborne spread of fungal infection as the stump rots. Stumps that are not ground after a tree is removed can become infested with termites or rot, creating a soft spot in your lawn’s soil. This procedure involves working around underground wires, pipes, gas lines, underground dog fences, and irrigation lines on your property. After the stump is removed/ground up, we remove any evidence of the former stump.
